PORCELAIN
Porcelain contains a high percentage of kaolinite along with silica, and other minerals which together when fused under extreme heat are responsible for the strength and durability of porcelain.

Pros:
Porcelain has a wide selection of colors, patterns and finishes; with varied pigmentation and veining similar to marble; scratch, heat and UV resistant which means that you will not have to worry about accidentally damaging your worktop. Sealing isn't needed unlike other counter-top materials.
Cons:
Porcelain comes with so many advantages, but the one downfall is that it can be chipped, cracked or damaged. Even though it is scratch and crack resistant, this does not make it unbreakable. So you will still need to be aware that heavy items or force can still damage your counter-top.
COUNTERTOPS
Porcelain counter-tops come in many colors and patterns, each offering a customized and clean look. The product is highly resistant to impact, scratches and abrasion for use in high-traffic areas and has very low water absorption. It also provides thermal shock resistance against heat, frost and thawing — enabling the product to be used outside in any climate.
This powerful combination allows Porcelain to be used in multiple architectural applications, including flooring, cladding, staircases, exterior facades, kitchen countertops, bathrooms, pool surrounds and many other home and architectural surfaces.
